Write-once, single-sided disk offers 25GB capacity, which equates to more than 25,000,000 pages of text (about 83,000 300-page books). 4X transfer speed is more than three times the rate of DVD (11.08Mbps vs. 35.97Mbps). Durable hard coat resists scratches, fingerprints and ink marks. Maximum recording time is 2 hours 48 minutes. BD-R Blu-Ray disk is ideal for recording high resolution HD television and video storage. Ideal for high-capacity data backup and archival storage. Read compatibility is expected with current CD and DVD media formats.
